(Blackwood, NJ) – If you’re looking for a “boo” ahead of this coming Valentine’s Day — or if you’re lamenting a lost loved — a South Jersey animal shelter is running a promotion you may enjoy. The Homeward Bound Adoption Center in Blackwood, New Jersey is offering to name a feral cat after your “ex” — then neuter the feline. Their tagline? “Some things shouldn’t breed.”
It only costs you $50, and the feral feline will be named after that person you’ve sometimes thought about calling or texting while drunk at 3:00 AM — even though you probably shouldn’t. Instead of committing that faux pas, name the kitty in South Jersey — and do it for a good cause. Feral cats can be an absolute menace to local bird populations, and many of them can’t find enough food to eat in the wild as is.
