(New York, NY) — NYPD cops say they have cuffed a 23-year-old man who allegedly raped a 10-year-old girl in a Harlem apartment earlier this month. Police say Drequan Drayton-Howard allegedly met the young girl on the dating app, Bumble. It’s unclear how or why the girl was on the app.
The attack took place on January 6th inside an apartment at Third Avenue and East 122nd Street. The crime came to light when the girl showed up at a local hospital to be treated. Drayton-Howard made an agreement with the NYPD and the US Marshals Service to turn himself in in on Wednesday. He has been charged with rape, sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child
