(Manchester, NH) — Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has dropped out of the race for the White House and is endorsing former President Trump. DeSantis made it official Sunday with a video posted on X, formerly Twitter. DeSantis was considered a front-runner early on, but finished a distant second in the Iowa Caucus and was polling in single digits ahead of Tuesday’s key New Hampshire primary. The GOP race is now essentially a two-person battle between Trump and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.
Polls in New Hampshire tightened over the weekend. Donald Trump’s lead over Nikki Haley has shrunk to single digits. Haley crisscrossed the granite state Sunday trying to pick up every last vote before Tuesday. By her side was celebrity Judge, Judy Sheindlin. The judge was asking voters to support Haley’s bid for the White House.
