(New York, NY) — The city’s Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the remains of a Long Island man killed at the World Trade Center on 9-11. 44-year-old John Niven was from Oyster Bay. He was a senior vice president of a Aon Risk Services, an insurance firm on the 105th floor of Tower Two. He is survived by a wife and son, who was only 18 months old at the time of the attacks. Niven is the 1,650th 9-11 victim to be identified. Mayor Adams says he’s grateful for the work the Chief Medical Examiner continues to do with the 9-11 remains. The Medical Examiner has been using advanced DNA testing in it’s bid to identify more of the victims. Around 40-percent of the 9-11 victims still remain unidentified to this day.
