New York, NY) —A Winter storm warning has been issued for parts of New Jersey—and a travel advisory has been issued for New York City.
A second storm this week will move over the region early Friday morning –spreading snow which will accumulate 1-3 inches. Parts of Staten Island and South Brooklyn could see 3 to 5 inches. The heaviest snow will fall in Central and Southern New Jersey. Forecasters say the ground is cold…so the snow is expected to stick right away. The storms will be followed by a new blast of Arctic cold—dropping temperatures into the teens Friday night and into the low 20’s on Saturday –with wind chills in the single digits and below zero North and West of New York City.
Alternate side parking regulations have been suspended for Friday.
