(New York, NY) — NYPD cops caught up and cuffed a man who went on a stabbing spree in Queens over the last 48 hours, slicing four complete strangers. 27-year-old Jermain Rigueur is expected to make an appearance in court today. He has been charged with attempted murder. Police say he used a hunting knife in his attacks. Rigueur allegedly laughed in the face of one of his victims. All of his victims are expected to make a full recovery.
The arrest last night took place just hours after the NYPD held a press conference asking New Yorkers for help tracking down Rigueur. Police have not said if the arrest was connected to their appeal to the public. The “New York Post” says Rigueur works as a greeter at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn.
