UNDATED—–The New York City tri state area will be locked into a deep freeze through the weekend —with even more snow forecast for later in the week. Right now forecasters say the region could see at least a couple of inches of snow on Friday —with the possibility of higher accumulation depending on the track of the storm.  Windchill temperatures expected to be in the teens on Saturday in New York, followed by somewhat milder weather next week. Meantime–much of the nation is in the grips of a deep freeze affecting 150 million people. Temperatures in South Texas falling into low 30’s.  Subzero temperatures will continue in the Plains.
