UNDATED—Flood watches and warnings are up for many parts of the Northeast—as a winter storm which has caused blizzard conditions in the midwest marches towards the east. A Flood Watch has been issued for New Jersey and parts of New York and Pennsylvania.
The tristate area could see between 2 and 4 inches of rain. A state of emergency has been issued in New Jersey effective Tuesday at 5 pm. Points north and west of New York City where there’s already a heavy snow pack, could see rivers and streams crest above flood stage. Winds could gust as high as 60 mph along the coast.
