(New York, NY) — Forecasters are watching a weekend storm that could slam New York with the most snow it’s seen in years. The National Weather Service says the snowstorm is slowly moving East, and they will have a better sense of snowfall totals as it gets closer.  The last time there was more than an inch of snow on the ground in New York City was February. 13, 2022.

One weather track has the storm bringing in heavy rain, and strong winds, while another shows it being cold enough to make all the precipitation snow. City Hall says it’s watching the storm closely, and will make battle plans when they have more solid information.
