Gadi Haggai has been confirmed dead following the October 7, 2023 attacks.
(Goshen, NY) – An Orange County, New York man that was taken hostage by Hamas on October 7 has been confirmed dead. Kibbutz Nir Oz, where Gadi Haggai and Judi Weinstein were living at the time, has confirmed that Haggai suffered a critical head wound after being shot — and died — before his body was taken into Gaza by Hamas terrorists. His wife, the 70-year-old Weinstein, remains in Hamas’ custody.
Reports say the couple were walking on the morning Hamas launched its attack. Weinstein was apparently able to get word to family members that they had been shot in the moments afterwards. The couple have ties to Goshen, New York.
