(New York, NY) — The 5-year-old twins, who mysteriously died in their Bronx apartment Monday morning had been sick for weeks. Police say the boy had repeatedly thrown up at school and had been nursing a cold for weeks. The deaths of the twins are now being investigated as “a medical tragedy.”
The mother of twins told police that she planned to take the two to the hospital on Monday to be checked out. When she went to check on them on Monday, they were cold to the touch. EMTs were called in to try and revive the, but it was too late. The medical examiner’s office has told the NYPD that there is no evidence that either of the twins were victims of strangulation or bruising to their bodies.
