(New York, NY) – After he was convicted of assault in a mixed verdict in New York City, actor Jonathan Majors has been dropped by Marvel. A jury found him guilty of assault and harassment, but acquitted Majors on two other counts. The 34-year-old Majors had been accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend in a chaotic incident in Manhattan.
Majors previously appeared in the Rocky-spinoff “Creed III,” but rose to his greatest heights as an actor with his role in Marvel programming. He played Kang the Conqueror, and was set to appear in a series of upcoming films reprising the same role. Majors’ most recent appearance as the super villain was in the second season of “Loki” on Disney Plus.
