Frigid Queens College dorm has no heat, hot water
(Queens, NY) – Repairs have been made and heat has as well as hot water been restored to the Summit Dorm at Queens College — according to a spokesperson.
Amid freezing temperatures — students living in the Summit Dorm at Queens College had no heat or hot water for several days this week. This came during final exams, meaning students have no realistic ability to leave campus and seek lodging elsewhere.
Queens College is part of the City University of New York system.
