(Tel Aviv, Israel) — Hamas is expected to release more hostages held in Gaza today. It’s not clear who will be on the list, but so far only one of ten Americans held have been let go. National Security Council spokesman John Kirby says he’s not sure if any Americans will be released today.  That as the White House is calling for a longer pause in the fighting to allow the release of all hostages.

A truce between Israel and Hamas has entered its fifth day. The sides agreed to extend their truce through Wednesday, but Israel has repeatedly vowed to resume the war with “full force” to destroy Hamas once it’s clear that no more hostages will be freed.
