Subway Violence
(New York, NY) – A 61-year-old man is being treated at Mount Sinai West Hospital after he was stabbed in the head and face with a screwdriver. It happened around 9:30 PM Thursday night on a southbound 1 Train, near the 59th Street-Columbus Circle stop. Reports say the victim was in stable condition when hospitalized.
It’s not clear what led up to the incident or what may have unfolded between the victim and the man who’s accused of using a screwdriver to attack him. The male suspect fled the station.
