(Tel Aviv, Israel) — Israel has carried out more than 450 air strikes in Gaza in the past 24 hours, targeting tunnels, terrorist cells, and military compounds.  The Hamas led Health Ministry says close to ten thousand have been killed in Gaza since the fighting began. Secretary of State Antony Blinken made a pair of unannounced visits in the Middle East on Sunday. First, Blinken met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas  during a surprise stop in the occupied West Bank. Later, he traveled to Iraq on the third day of his tour of the region as the war between Israel and Hamas rages. Blinken says he believes progress is being made as the U.S. works to keep the conflict from spreading.
