(Franklin, NJ) — Sami Shaban, a member of the Franklin Township School Board is mourning the loss of nine relatives killed in Gaza in the war between Israel and Hamas. Shaban says the relatives killed range in age from three months to 72 years-old. He says he feels for all the civilians lost both in Israel and in Gaza over the last three weeks. Shaban says he hopes there will be a ceasefire, and an end to Israel’s military operation in the region soon.
