(Brooklyn, NY) – Multiple outlets are reporting that the FBI executed a search warrant at the Brooklyn home of a campaign consultant linked to New York City Mayor Eric Adams. The search unfolded sometime this morning at the home of Brianna Suggs, a top official with connections to Adams’ fundraising efforts.
It’s not immediately clear if this is why Adams cut short his trip to Washington, DC — where he was scheduled to discuss the ongoing migrant crisis with White House officials. When word broke Adams had turned around and headed back to NYC, a City Hall spokesperson said the mayor had to attend to a “matter” of some kind.
