U.S.-NEW YORK-TIMES SQUARE-INAUGURATION DAY
(New York, NY) — There are five people now in custody after a shooting in Times Square last night. Police say a 16-year-old was shot in the shoulder by 44th Street and 8th Avenue around 10 o’clock. Officers responded quickly and took five teens wearing masks into custody. Police believe two groups of teenagers were involved in a dispute prior to the shooting. An 18-year-old suspect is expected to be charged later today.
