syndication-northjersey-106

(Jersey City, NJ) — Former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey has filed a form with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission that he is planning a run for mayor of Jersey City in 2025. It’s been 19 years since McGreevey held office after announcing his resignation as Governor because of a secret extramarital affair that was about to go public. At the time, the Democratic politician’s announcement that “my truth is that I am a gay American,” was stunning. The 65-year-old has since received a divinity degree and worked for several years as executive director of Jersey City’s Employment & Training program.
