The cause of death for actor Matthew Perry has been deferred. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner made that announcement Sunday, one day after the 54-year-old star of “Friends” was found unresponsive in his hot tub at his home in Pacific Palisades. Police do not believe foul play was involved. A deferred cause of death means authorities have requested an official investigation before determining a final cause. Meanwhile, his former castmates on the hit show, Friends say they are devastated by his death. In a statement released Sunday, they are are calling Matthew Perry’s death “The One Where Our Hearts Are Broken”.
