WASHINGTON, DC – It appears the House may vote for a third time on electing a new Speaker. There had been talk of voting Interim Speaker Patrick McHenry to the job full time until January. However Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan says Republican members decided against the idea. Jordan plans on staying in the race for Speaker in a third vote on the House floor. He failed to pick up the required votes in the first two rounds—even less support in the second House floor vote.
