WASHINGTON, DC -President Biden will send an urgent budget request to congress on Friday to help Israel in the war against Hamas in the mid east, as well as the war in Ukraine. Speaking to the nation from the oval office, Biden says the hostages are a priority.
The President says Hamas and Putin represent different threats,” “But they share this in common. They both want to completely annihilate a neighboring democracy.”
Biden says the security package includes $14 billion dollars for Israel, and 60 billion dollars for Ukraine.
The President says life sustaining assistance will continue for Palestinians in Gaza.
