(Tel Aviv, Israel) — National Security Council Spokesperson John Kirby says there are no current plans to send in U.S. troops to help free American hostages held in Gaza. Kirby says the U.S. is still trying to determine just how many Americans are being held and where they’re being held. 15 Americans are still unaccounted for, but the White House says it does not know if all of them are being held hostage. Kirby says it has been “careful” about what they say publicly about American hostages.
