(New York, NY) – As dawn broke in New York City, Israeli Defense Forces warned on Saturday that civilians in Gaza have six hours to flee, ahead of an impending ground assault. This follows last week’s murderous terrorist attacks launched by Hamas, from Gaza, into southern Israel.
The IDF has been dripping flyers and urging people to leave the northern part of the Gaza Strop. This is reportedly “for their own safety,” and applies to specified streets.
It was on Thursday night when people living in the same area were warned of an impending attack in 24 hours. Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes have been hitting parts throughout Gaza since the original attack. Thousands of IDF troops and their equipment has been set up along the border. Per Palestinian health authorities, 1,900 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 7,700 have been wounded by Israeli airstrikes. Israel says 1,300 have been killed when combining the Hamas terrorist attacks and rockets that have been launched — 3,200 have been wounded. Per the US State Department, 27 Americans are among the dead.
