NEW YORK, NY- Thousands of demonstrators filling the streets of Times Square Friday afternoon in the midst of the Israel and Hamas war.
This comes after a former Hamas leader called for a Global Day of Jihad . Israeli and Palestinian supporters clashing.
Police had separated the groups with barricades.
Many demonstrators later heading to the Israeli Consulate. Security remains extremely tight in the area.
Police making some arrests.
