Ruby Chen grew up in New York, and at a press conference in Tel Aviv said his son, Itai was serving in the Israeli army when he went missing in action. Connecticut native Jonathan Dekel-Chen says his 35-year-old son Sagui was kidnapped from their family’s kibbutz on Saturday. Edan Alexander, who graduated Tenafly High in New Jersey last year is now missing feared kidnapped by militants. Laor Abramov is another New Jersey native missing. He was at the concert where 250 Israelis were murdered on Saturday. His parents fear he was kidnapped and taken back into Gaza with his girlfriend. The U.S. can’t confirm how many Americans are being held hostage by Hamas, but President Biden said he has no higher priority than securing their release.
