(Philadelphia, PA) – Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is switching things up in his bid for the White House and will now run as an Independent. The man better known as RFK Jr. told his supporters about the change today in Philadelphia. He made comments suggesting the nation is ready for this type of thing.

In spring, RFK Jr. launched his challenge against incumbent Democratic President Joe Biden. Now no longer beholden to the DNC, RFK Jr. says he’s free to no longer “take sides.” The 69-year-old son of late New York Senator RFK and nephew of JFK is a notable critic of vaccines. He works as an environmental lawyer.
