NYC Mayor Eric Adams on Education and Public Safety
(New York, NY) — Mayor Adams is back home following his four-day trip to Latin America. The mayor wrapped up his trip Saturday night in Colombia and called on the U.S. government for a “right to work” for migrants in the United States. His message to migrants during his trip was the city is at capacity. Mayor Adams says migrants are being given misinformation that New York has jobs and shelter, but Adams says the city has run out of both. The mayor also went to Ecuador and Mexico during his tour, where he visited migrant shelters and spoke to local lawmakers.
