(New York, NY) A suspect is under arrest in an attack on a tourist in Central Park.
Police say 59 year old Angelo Del Guercio was arrested on charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Investigators say a woman was riding her bike near 96th Street and West Drive Thursday afternoon when she nearly collided with someone walking on the path. That person then started yelling and allegedly hit her on the head with what appeared to be a baton. She’s listed in stable condition.
