(Robbinsville, NJ) — The world’s largest modern Hindu temple outside of India is set to open next month in New Jersey. In addition to the place of worship, the BAPS Akshardham in Robbinsville also includes a welcome center, museum and event space. It took roughly 12 years of planning and construction, and sits on more than 180 acres of land. The temple is scheduled for a limited capacity opening on October 8th.
