(Eagle Pass, TX) — New York Republican Congressman Brandon Williams spent 24 hours in Eagle Pass, Texas, watching on as the town is just overwhelmed again by migrants surging across the border from Mexico. The Mayor of Eagle Pass says a lot of those migrants are being put onto busses and sent here to New York. The mayor of El Paso, Texas says the number of migrants flooding into his border town has hit the breaking point. Mayor Oscar Leeser says he is chartering more buses to send them to New York City. Governor Hochul announced Monday that the National Guard will now help migrants who made it here to New York, fill out the paperwork to help them find jobs and get out of migrant shelters quicker.
