(Washington, D.C.) — – A draft resolution to oust Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House has reportedly been found in a bathroom at the Capitol building. The “Daily Beast” says the motion was found by a reporter Tuesday on a baby-changing table in a bathroom under the House floor. Reporter Matt Laslo posted pictures of it on X, formerly Twitter, and said the resolution was being put forth by Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz of Florida, who has been calling on McCarthy recently to cave in to demands from the far right. It’s not clear who left the motion in the bathroom, or if they did it on purpose.
