(Toldeo, OH) —Â United Auto Workers were holding talks with Ford and GM over the weekend, as they walk the picket line in places like Toledo, Ohio. Union leaders are pushing for what they call a “strong and fair contract.” General Motors CEO, Mary Barra says her company offered unionized workers an “historic” deal that they, so far have turned down. The UAW is demanding better pay and pension benefits for auto workers.
