NEW YORK, NY –Strong storms with dangerous lightning barreled through the tri state region Monday afternoon.
Many locations were hit with heavy downpours, causing flooding in the usual spots.
Forecasters say there will be a bit of a break Tuesday, with more storms returning by mid week.
