(New York, NY) — The FDNY has added 43 names to the World Trade Center Memorial Wall. The members died of illnesses related to their rescue and recovery efforts at ground zero after the September 11th attacks. It is the second largest group of names added to the wall since it was created in 2011, The total number of firefighters lost to 9/11 related illnesses is now almost as many as the 343 members who died on 9/11.
