UNDATED –The “Boss” is putting aside his guitar for a while. Doctors are advising Bruce Springsteen to postpone performances scheduled for September, after having been diagnosed and treated for symptoms from peptic ulcer disease. Thursday’s show in New York has been postponed.
In a statement, Springsteen says he’s heartbroken to have to postpone the shows, but he says he, and the band will be back.
