(New York, NY) — Federal prosecutors want the next court appearance for embattled New York Congressman George Santos pushed back until October, while both sides reportedly talk best possible paths forward. Court watchers say Santos may be working on a plead deal. He plead not guilty in May to a 13-count federal indictment, which included counts of wire fraud, money laundering, and making false statements to Congress.
