SAG-AFTRA Hollywood strike
(Los Angeles, CA) – As the Hollywood writers and actors strike drags on, at least one movie studio says it’s looking at a noteworthy financial impact. Warner Brothers Discovery reports it is adjusting its full-year earnings expectations downward — reducing them by between $300 million and $500 million. The company owns both movie production and television production studios. The Writers Guild of America has been on strike since May, while actors with SAG-AFTRA started walking the picket line in July.
