(New York, NY) — WABC’s own, and former New York City mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa was arrested Sunday during a migrant protest outside Gracie Mansion. It’s the third time the Guardian Angels founder has been cuffed by police in recent days, as he protests Mayor Adam’s migrant shelter policies. Sliwa told a crowd of protestors Sunday, that the city can no longer absorb any more migrants, and Mayor Adams has no long term plan of where he will house and feed them. There were some violent scuffles during the demonstration. Sliwa broke up one of the fights. Sliwa will detail his latest arrest on his Sunday program on WABC and again on “Sid and Friends in the Morning” on Monday morning at 7 a.m.
