STATEN ISLAND, NY– New York City’s plan to shelter migrants at a shuttered school on Staten Island appears to be on for now–this after an appellate judge had overruled an earlier injunction which had blocked migrants from being housed at the school. Dozen of migrants had arrived on Staten Island Friday, where they were to be housed at the former St. John Villa Academy. There were also plans to house hundreds more migrants at that location.
