UNDATED -Officials in Russia say the leader of the Wagner Mercenary group Yevgeny Prigozhin, was aboard a plane that crashed Wednesday north of Moscow.
All 10 people aboard were killed in the crash.
Russian officials are launching an investigation into the crash.
Prigozhin mounted a brief mutiny against Russia’s military leadership in late June, forcing Russian leader Vladimir Putin to go into hiding.
The Kremlin had sent Preigozhin to exile in Belarus.
