(Israel) – New York City Mayor Eric Adams is continuing his trip to Israel, where he met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday. He’ll spend the day in Tel Aviv after being in Jerusalem earlier in the week.
Adams had a chance to visit the World Holocaust Remembrance Center on Tuesday, and part of his trip includes discussions on how to combat anti-Semitism. Adams also met with Israeli technology leaders and tasted honey made without bees — as well as lab-grown meat that doesn’t have any fat. The mayor says he wants to follow what Israeli tech startups do, in terms of establishing a blueprint for New York City.
The mayor is also undoubtedly hoping to shore up his relationship with the Jewish community ahead of his run at a second term as mayor.
