Nassau County Police, cops
(Valley Stream, NY) – Police say at least one person is dead and others are injured, following a shooting at an event space in Valley Stream. Nassau County detectives are investigating a crime scene that spans several blocks in between Ocean Avenue and 131st Street. Reports indicate the event space is located in between a dance studio and a salon. Parties are routinely held there where alcohol is served and crowds have been large lately, per reports.
There’s also a popular smoke shop near by. It’s not clear if that was involved in this incident.
