(New York, NY) – Americans continue to show a preference for streaming services as opposed to traditional cable or broadcast television. Nielsen says while streaming accounted for 38% of all TV watching, cable checked in at 29%, and broadcast came in at 20%. That represents a high water mark for streaming.
At the same time, the Wall Street Journal reports that people are spending 25% more annually on average, in terms of watching a major ad-free streaming service, like Netflix, Disney+, or Amazon Prime Video.
