QUEENS , NY – Protestors gathering in Queens Village Wednesday night following the opening of a new migrant tent city at the Creedmoor Psychiatric facility. Some protestors have been arrested, including 77 WABC’S Curtis Sliwa, who was taken into custody for locking himself at the entrance to the facility. Mayor Adams says he would rather have migrants staying at the facility instead of the streets. Another temporary migrant shelter facility is expected to open at Randall’s Island.
