(New York, NY) — Taxpayers may be very surprised by how much they will be charged for the migrant tent city on Randall’s Island. The New York Post reports it’ll cost 20-million dollars a month to house them there. That’s about ten-thousand per migrant. The facility is one of four state-funded shelters set up to keep up with the flood of migrants coming into New York. Mayor Adams has said the city is at its breaking point with 57-thousand migrants staying at 198 shelters across the five boroughs.
