(Dallas, TX) — The Dallas woman who was seen on a viral video getting kicked off an American Airlines flight is apologizing.
Tiffany Gomas, who is known by many as the “Crazy Plane Lady,” issued the apology in a social media post.
“First and foremost, I want to [sigh] take full accountability for my actions,” said Gomas, “They were completely unacceptable.”
She said distressed or not, she should have been able to control her emotions. Gomas also said she has found many of the memes that have been posted since the incident amusing, but also said they were invasive and unkind.
So what exactly happened?
Gomas went viral after having a breakdown on an American Airlines flight. A video shows the distressed traveler saying “That [person] right there is not real,” and “I’m getting the f*** off this plane right now.”
For Gomas, it has been tough seeing the video go viral.
“We all have our bad moments,” said an apologetic Gomas, “some far worse than others and mine happened to be caught on camera for the whole world to see.”
Many Twitter, now x, users have took to the platform expressing suspicion the lady featured in the apology video is not the same lady who panicked on the plane
Barstool Sports tweeted the apology and comment after comment said that’s not her.
Gomas did not go into who or what exactly she saw on the plane that sparked such a reaction; however, she did promise to move on with her life and to make something positive out of the experience.
