ALBANY, NY A judge for now is banning New York from issuing additional licenses to Marijuana dispensaries. Recently a State Supreme Court judge ruled in favor of a group of disabled veterans who sued over the state’s cannabis licensing program. The veterans say it favors people with past drug convictions, and deprives veterans of the opportunity to open their own dispensaries.
The Cannabis Association of New York is disagreeing with the judge’s decision–saying state lawmakers should hold a special session on the matter.
