Meat packing
(Paterson, NJ) – Because the meat wasn’t federally inspected, 50,000 pounds of raw halal beef and lamb are being recalled from a meat packing plant in New Jersey.
This marks the second time this summer that Enza Meat Packing in Paterson has been forced to issue a recall. No one has reported getting sick from the meat as of yet. Officials recommend anyone with concerns to call a medical professional.
